Sunday Workshops

When....

These workshops run on certain Sundays throughout the year and last betweem 3 and 6 hours.   

What's Included

All of the clay, the use of tools & equipment, glazes and firings is included in the price. I also provide light refreshments throughout the day. At the end of the workshop you will have a choice to make - either to come back and glaze your piece yourself, once it has been fired (this is included in the cost of the workshop) or to pick the glaze you would like your piece finished in, for me to glaze on your behalf.

What to bring

Lunch is not included in the price of the whole day workshops. You may wish to bring a packed lunch with you and you are free to use my kitchen facilities. There is a fridge, microwave and toaster available for your use. Alternatively there is also a local pub which serves bar meals and also has a coffee shop & tea room.

What happens next?

After your workshop, your pieces will be carefully dried and be bisque fired. You will then return, at a mutually convenient time, to glaze your piece or you can choose a glaze and I will glaze it for you. The pieces will then be fired again in the glaze kiln. Once they are completely ready, I will contact you to arrange for their collection. Alternatively, if you are unable to collect pieces can be posted to you. The cost of this will depend on the piece to be posted.
